The process of identifying the biological sex of cannabis plants grown from regular seeds by inducing a short 12/12 light cycle and observing early pre-flower development.
New Schwale genetics (ZZ BOP, Marang) are placed under 12/12 light in the mother greenhouse to reveal sex. Dakota notes this only started a few days before filming, so sex was not yet clearly visible on most plants.
