Dakota conducts pheno hunts across virtually every cultivar in the episode — running 5–14 phenos of Blood Moon Gelato, 100 seeds of Marji's Magic, and 50 plants per bed in the greenhouse. He notes the goal is to find a mix of both parental traits in F1 crosses.
