A growing medium made from coconut husk fibers, used as an inert substrate that requires full nutrient supplementation. Typically run at a lower pH (5.5–6.0) than soil.
Both the CO2 room and the AutoPot setups were running 100% coco. Dakota noted pH inputs of 5.6–5.8 are used in this medium. The AutoPot mistake arose from using 100% coco without an aeration amendment, which AutoPot's guidelines advise against.
